Political guru Karl Rove made a lot of brash statements during the last few weeks of the American election cycle. When speaking to NPR’s Robert Siegel, Rove said:

MR. ROVE: Yeah. Look, I’m looking at all these Robert and adding them up. And I add up to a Republican Senate and a Republican House. You may end up with a different math, but you’re entitled to your math. I’m entitled to “the” math.

Yeah, ok Karl.

Thanks to this pair of ostriches, Bush and Rove, America now gets to listen to the certifiably nuts Nancy Pelosi.

The writing has been on the wall for weeks. No amount of “optimism” was going to save the day. The bigger question is whether Bush and Rove actually believed what they were saying? Bush has said many times that “he doesn’t pay attention to polls”. Rove claimed to have insider information with polling and thus his cheery demeanor. Both of them were flat wrong.

The only saving grace to this election disaster will be if Pelosi is encouraged to be the Liberal idiot that she is. If she does not moderate her position and somehow thinks she has a mandate, she’ll be the catalyst to motivate the Republican base for the 2008 Presidential elections.

If I were the Republicans, I’d try to motivate Pelosi and the Democrats to be as socialist/communist as possible. Push them to mount spirited defenses of anti-family and anti-military policies. Give them every opportunity to show themselves to be the anti-Americans they are.

Karl Rove proved this election cycle that he’s willing to cheerlead people on the Titanic to keep polishing that brass. Put away the “yes-man” Republican polls Karl. The worst lies are the ones you tell yourself.

Ever defiant to the end, justice was served today when Saddam Hussein was sentenced to death by hanging.

You would think the world would rejoice at the punishment of such an evil leader, yet the Euro Libs got bent out of shape:

But symbolic of the split between the United States and many of its traditional allies over the Iraq war, many European nations voiced opposition to the death sentences in the case, including France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. A leading Italian opposition figure called on the continent to press for Saddam’s sentence to be commuted to life imprisonment

The people of Europe are but a shell of what they used to be. Truly a generation has been lost to Liberalism.

You also have to love the “unbiased” AP reporting when the writers go on to say:

Lost in the drama of Sunday’s death sentence was any mention of the failed search for the alleged weapons of mass destruction that Bush said led the United States to invade and occupy Iraq in March 2003.

I’m surprised they didn’t bring up the “mission accomplished” incident or how many US servicemen were killed as well.

In the build-up to this verdict the media Libs have been planting the suggestion that there will be outrage at a guilty verdict. Today they went shopping for Sunnis to find this anger.

But in Saddam’s hometown of Tikrit, not far from Dujail, 1,000 people defied the curfew and carried pictures of the city’s favorite son through the streets. Some declared the court a product of the U.S. “occupation forces” and condemned the verdict. Policemen wept in the streets.

“By our souls, by our blood we sacrifice for you, Saddam,” the Tikrit crowds chanted.

I doubt it was just the policemen weaping today. I’m sure there were many Libs crying and wishing it was Bush being sentenced instead of the mass-grave loving Saddam.

Even as I watched the live news covering this verdict, CNN was practically begging for the outraged masses to come pouring out into the streets. Dire warnings of sectarian violence and anarchy were repeatedly promised by the news hack in Iraq.

Hopefully the sentence will be carried out soon and live on TV.

In a rare display of complete insanity, a recent poll reports that Britons (and others) think that George Bush is more dangerous than Kim Jong-Il and the Iranian Hitler Ahmadinejad.

Asked whether they thought the U.S. leader was a great or moderate danger to peace, 75 percent of British people said yes. Some 87 percent felt the same about bin Laden, while Kim scored 69 percent and Ahmadinejad clocked 62 percent.

The “Old Europe” socialist Liberals prove they have no common sense and no desire to preserve their lives against the growing world-wide threat of radical Islam.

Islamofascists aided by the Liberal media have thoroughly brain-washed many in the world to call good evil and evil good. What hope is there to win the global war on Islamofascists when the very people you seek to help view you worse than your enemies.

Life is not going to get any better for the Britons either. Another recent article described how life in the UK is being transformed into a Big Brother nightmare with cameras tracking every move and computers watching every transaction.

This is what happens when men lose the will to fight. They turn to the government and give up their freedoms for the “hope” of safety and peace. You cannot have freedom without courage to fight for that freedom. You cannot have safety unless you are willing to die in defense of your homeland.

The United States is fighting for freedom and for the right of people to live in peace yet these fools think that madmen are better. Truly disgusting.
